Mila obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology at the University of Barcelona (UB) in 2011 and a Official Master’s degree in Research applied to Health Sciences at the Autonomus University of Barcelona in 2013.
Her interest in clinical psychology has led her to also pursue postgraduate studies in Brief and Strategic Intervention and in Couples Therapy, both at the Univesity of Girona in 2016.
Later, in 2018, she completed a master’s degree in Neuropsychology and Behavioral Neurology at Autonomous Univesity of Barcelona, accomplishing a Description of the Cognitive Profile in Parkinson’s Disease as the thesis and a postgraduate degree in Neuropsychology and Neurology of Child Behavior at Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2020. She has been participating in different research units at Hospital del Mar Medical Research Institute (IMIM) since 2016.
Currently, she collaborates as a member of experimental sessions team on the project Be Mother, which investigates the hormonal, the neuropsychological and the structural brain changes that occur during pregnancy and last for the postpartum period. She also teaches specific training course in cognitive stimulation aimed at adults with functional diversity (SOS Intellectual Capacity Association) organized by Sant Pere de Ribes Town Hall and she works as a neuropsychologist in private practice.
