María is doing her doctoral studies in the Neuroimaging group of the Medical Imaging Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Carmona. In 2018, he obtained a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Barcelona. In 2019, he completed the master’s degree in Statistics for Data Science (Carlos III University of Madrid) obtaining the award for excellence. Her research focuses on detecting and characterizing, through multimodal neuroimaging techniques, the brain changes produced during pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum, and in their relationship with the maternal-filial bond. He is currently part of the European project, ERC, BEMOTHER.
